Anne Behrendt is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal of Doran Companies, one of the upper Midwest’s leading commercial real estate companies. As CEO and majority owner, Anne oversees every aspect of Doran’s growth and strategy. Over the past decade, under Anne’s leadership, Doran has developed, designed, and built an impressive portfolio of multifamily, hotel, commercial and mixed-use projects, managed millions of square feet of commercial space and residential communities, and secured $1.5 billion in new business. 

Recognized as a 2024 “Power 30 Developer” by Finance & Commerce, a “Twin Cities Power Woman” by BisNow, one of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 under 40” and top “Women in Business,” Anne is held in high esteem by Doran employees, industry peers, and partners. She received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. Anne is a member of the 2024 class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute and serves on the board of Directors for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
